The Trip

Steve Coogan is tasked with reviewing restaurants in Northern England. When his girlfriend cancels he takes Rob Brydon as a last resort. Coogan and Brydon are brilliant at performing fictionalised versions of themselves. The two of them are constantly competing with jokes and impersonations (almost to the point of ad nauseam). If British humour is your thing you’ll love The Trip, but be careful if you’re a foodie as it could be painful to see them at well-known restaurants either ignoring their mouthwatering dishes or referring to them with jokes such as: “it’s very soupy” and “it has the consistency of snot.” Warning: the food shots will make your stomach grumble so make sure you go in with a full belly.
